Zero Wheel Speed Transducer
Crane A&E’s new, patented Zero Wheel Speed Transducer (ZWST) combines traditional variable reluctance and secondary sensing technology into a single LRU. Our ZWST is installed in the aircraft’s axle, is driven by a hubcap interface and features a dual technology, dual channel design. It provides wheel speed feedback to a BCU for antiskid brake control and measures low-speed angular position – including speeds than 10 knots in either direction.
