LYNNWOOD,
Wash. – July 1, 2008 –
Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of
Crane Co. (NYSE:CR), has announced the appointment of Joe Bottenfield as
the Vice President of Microwave Systems Solutions, which includes both
the Beverly, Massachusetts and Chandler, Arizona sites. Crane’s
Microwave Systems provide RF and microwave solutions for the defense,
space and communications industries for use in electronic
countermeasures, missiles, radar, intelligence and guidance systems.
Prior to Crane, Bottenfield was Director of
Avionics, North America for Barco Inc. Previous to Barco Inc. he worked
for Herley Industries in several capacities, including leading the
Business Development and Engineering teams. Bottenfield holds a BS
degree in Computer & Electronics Engineering and an MBA.
